yeahigotadayjob's playlist...

I have sung, played bass, guitar, and a little trumpet in various bands. Now I play, write, and record merely to amuse myself in the confines of my home.

Wanna Get Down

A campy, simple little song. The recording quality is not the best, but hey - we all do what we can. Looking forward to your honest feedback.

Our band is called Honey - we're currently recording our first full length. This song is an older, unmixed version...recorded with some former band mates. When the new one is done I'll pop it up. Please vote! :D

Baby cry (Don't despair)

The sax solo is anti-climatic when it should be the other way around...Anyway, listen, comment, vote if you feel like it. Thanks.

Bulletproof

ATTENTION:
I have changed profile. My new profile is found at http://bedroomsessions.bandamp.com/.

This is an early studio demo recording my band Wasted Days did.

It was one of the first songs we ever wrote and I have some fond memories from performing it! Looking back, it could have been done better (there are some glaringly off-key melody and bass parts...) but I just wanted to share this with you all.

Body shop

(For those who may not know, "body shop" in the US English is a place where you take your car to have a dent fixed, not a cosmetics store to buy an eco-friendly moisturizer). Sung in Russian by a car mechanic friend of ours (for authenticity's sake. See my "album"). Additional local flavor added by an accordion. Enjoy and tell me what you think. Regards to all.

A rather simplistic melody (sorry!), that was fun to play and mix. Tell me what you think. Thanx.

Quanta

Hi! This is my first post here. We are a band composed of four serious geeks ... PhD's and all. I'd call our music heavily influenced by our geeky life experiences ... geek rock, if you like. Anyway this is quanta:

In and out of here
Matter warps the space
Gravity is strong
Unify the field

Ten dimensions
Hyperspace
Go through time
Strings collide
Gettin back
Before we left
Through an open hole

The world has gotten
Strung together now
Bosons, leptons too
Take a second look

Chorus again
